Give a warm welcome to Wendy Baker...

Wendy is my favorite photographer in the world and she just so happens to take beautiful home photos.  She  works mostly in the Sacramento area, although she's been known to travel to distant places for the right shot...

In addition to home photos, she takes awesome head-shots (like my photo in the top left corner overlooking the Sacramento river) and is fully versed in Photoshop (I turn to her with questions on a regular basis!).

Also, she has a real knack for lighting and I've been forced to wait and wait and wait numerous times in my life just to get the right lighting while at the beach/park/zoo/highway/mountain/etc. (It would probably help to know she is my mom!) If you've been following RCG for a while, then you've probably seen a ton of her work and I did profile her way back in March of 2005 back when the site was pretty darn new and I was still learning about what made a good blog post...

To see her work, I recommend checking out her website at WendyBaker.com and her gallery on the same site.  She's a little weary of this blogging thing, so I also encourage you to leave a nice note on her first blog post
