I'm already #4 in Calabasas with 548 points!
And I only need to get a little over 1000 to be #1!
That means that either I'll have to start writing longer blog posts, or you guys will have to start commenting more! LOL!

Dustin,
Good luck with your venture. Try to write longer and more meaningful blog posts, so that people will want to comment on them. Every day something happens in our market that makes me go, Hmmm.... Those are the things that I post on. Methods of lead generating, inaccessability of listings, what information the seller needs to know, closing gifts.... the list goes on and on!!!
IMHO getting to #1 isn't the whole battle, it's getting to be #1 with other agents that might send you business, and getting to be #1 with clients because of your market knowledge. With Localism.com that will be very much top of mind.
Again, good luck!!!
Thank you Maureen, Marci, and Renee!
Thanks to all the hard work of Ardell (she's my first invite), I'm already at #3 and I should quickly make my way to #2 in Calabasis with this comment! LOL!
then it's on to conquer Los Angeles County... which I think you are already on page 4 of 14...in the county.... of course Eddy Martinez has close to 100,000 points so it may take awhile to catch him.
I get it. I need to go back and change the town to Kirkland
I get it now :) Unfortunately we do get quite a few newbies that post that way.
I guess we can be pretty sure your points will add up fast!!!
Not again! I received a box of coal this year!
(and it tasted really bad!)
Great point Rich!
It helps to have very little competition! That's the primary reason I was able to make a dent with RCG two years ago! LOL!
But you've given me an idea... I may already be the top in Calabasas and #20 in Los Angeles County, but if I jump ship and change my location to to Ventura County (where I work as oppose to live!), I'll already be #4 on the list and two blog posts away from "featured" status!
Dustin, better yet, pack up the car and move to Inyo County! You could have top spot just by loggin on!
